Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 April 2026

1. Who we are

Jaunt is a trading name of [Your Company Name Ltd], a company registered in England and Wales (company number [XXXXXXXX]), with its registered office at [registered address]. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to this company.

2. What we do

Jaunt is a flight booking and travel management platform. When you book a flight through Jaunt, we act as an agent — not as the airline or carrier. Your contract of carriage (the ticket) is between you and the operating airline.

All flights are sourced and ticketed through Duffel Technology Limited, an IATA-accredited travel technology provider. Duffel facilitates the booking and payment to the airline on our behalf. We operate as a sub-agent under Duffel’s IATA accreditation.

3. Booking and payment

  • When you search for flights, we display real-time offers from airlines via Duffel. These offers are subject to availability and can change at any time until confirmed.
  • The total price you pay includes the airline fare (including taxes and charges) plus a service fee charged by Jaunt. Both amounts are clearly shown before checkout.
  • Payment is collected securely via Stripe Checkout. We do not store your card details — your card information is entered on Stripe’s payment page, not ours. Stripe also offers Link, an optional one-click wallet that saves your card with Stripe for faster future checkouts (yours and any other Stripe-powered site). Using Link is optional; if you decline, you pay with a card as normal. Your airline ticket or hotel reservation is issued only after your payment is confirmed by Stripe.
  • If your card is declined or fails Stripe’s fraud check (Stripe Radar / 3D Secure), the booking will not complete and your hotel hold or flight offer may expire (typically within 15 minutes). You can retry payment from the booking detail page while the hold is still valid; after that you’ll need to re-search.
  • Once a ticket is issued, your booking is governed by the airline’s fare conditions, which are displayed before you confirm your booking. Please review these carefully as many fares are non-refundable.
  • Offers have a limited validity window (typically 15–20 minutes from search). If an offer expires before payment completes, the booking will not proceed and you will not be charged.

4. Cancellations and refunds

As a transport service, flight bookings are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Whether a booking can be changed or refunded depends entirely on the airline’s fare conditions, which are shown before purchase. If a fare is marked as “non-refundable” or “no changes”, these restrictions apply.

The Jaunt service fee is non-refundable unless the booking fails due to an error on our part.

If the airline cancels your flight, you are entitled to a refund or rebooking under the airline’s terms and, where applicable, under UK/EU passenger rights regulations (EC 261/2004 as retained in UK law).

5. ATOL protection

Jaunt sells flight-only bookings. Flight-only sales are not covered by the ATOL scheme. ATOL protection applies only to package holidays that include flights combined with accommodation or other travel services.

6. Your responsibilities

  • You must ensure that all passenger details (name, date of birth, contact information) are accurate and match the travel document exactly. Incorrect details may result in denied boarding, and we cannot be held liable for errors in information you provide.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.) for your destination.
  • You must check in with the airline within their required timeframes.

7. Our liability

We act as an intermediary and are not liable for the airline’s performance of the flight, including delays, cancellations, or service quality. Your contract of carriage is with the airline.

We are liable for ensuring your booking is correctly processed and your ticket is issued following confirmed payment. If we fail to do this due to a fault on our part, we will either rebook you or issue a full refund including our service fee.

8. Flight tracking and notifications

Jaunt provides flight status tracking and notifications as a convenience feature. While we aim for accuracy, flight status data is provided by third-party sources and may not always be up to date. Always check directly with your airline for the most current information.

8b. AI agent / Connector access

Jaunt exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint at api.usejaunt.com/mcp so you can connect an AI assistant of your choice (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Desktop, etc.) to your account. Connecting an AI client is opt-in and uses standard OAuth 2.1 with PKCE — you grant a granular consent screen showing exactly which scopes the client is requesting (mcp.read, mcp.write, mcp.book).

  • You are responsible for actions taken by AI clients you authorise. If you grant mcp.book to a client and that client books a ticket on your behalf — through the explicit two-step confirmation flow — the resulting contract of carriage is binding on you in the same way as a booking you completed manually. Airline fare conditions, cancellation rules, and the non-refundability of our service fee in clause 4 apply identically.
  • Confirmation is always required. The booking endpoints follow a two-step pattern: the agent first calls a search/quote tool that returns price, cancellation terms, and a one-time confirmation token; the second call (with that token) is what actually charges your card and issues the ticket. We will not honour a booking attempt that bypasses this pattern.
  • You can revoke access at any time from Settings → Connected apps. Revocation invalidates the client’s OAuth token immediately; bookings already confirmed before revocation remain valid. We log every tool call against your account so you can audit what each connected client did.
  • The AI provider is a separate party. When you talk to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other client, the conversation runs on that provider’s infrastructure under their terms and privacy policy. We have no contract with them in respect of your use; they are not our agent and we are not theirs. Section 7 (our liability) applies to Jaunt’s performance, not to the AI provider’s.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
